DAVE ELLES BAND
Biography
The Dave Elles Band played the Houston music scene with a unique, high-energy honky tonk sound that has attracted a legion of loyal fans. The band, features the original material of singer-songwriter Dave Elles.
The 34-year old Elles, who was born in Dallas but grew up in the Houston area, has been playing in bands and as a solo artist since joining his first group in 1984. His years of toiling on stage have been brought to life through his music, which offers a myriad of stories about life, love and a view of the world through the bottom of a whiskey glass. Although the Dave Elles Band is powered by its original material, the group isn't afraid to step out and pound out country classics from Johnny Cash's "Folsom Prison Blues" to Waylon Jennings' standard "Good Ol' Boys" from the Dukes of Hazard. It is Elles' indelible writing style; however, that has created a steady following of enthusiastic, dance-happy fans.

Elles classics such as Outlaw, Godspeed, and Raise A Little Hell, take fans on a musical adventure that brings to life the rugged struggles of the old west, to life on the road chasing down a dream in a modern-day honky tonk bar.
